Natural fibre and wood, with hints of gold honouring the metal's cultural importance in Kerala, carry the Starbucks coffee story here. Artisans from Malappuram hand-wove the coffee botanicals in cane, while wood pieces crafted with artisans around Quilandi were shaped in abstract forms designed to fit together like a puzzle _ a collaboration open to new, modern techniques alongside traditional craft.
